european interlude
Blogger in Hungarian is an oddly enchanting user experience--an intriguing language to explore (and possibly a distant relative of Turkish, I've been told). I think "BejegyzÊsek" means posts, but I could be wrong about that....
I'm at Lake Balaton for a work conference/retreat. Flew to Budapest Tuesday night; spent Wednesday wandering around in a jet-lagged haze, taking photos, buying paprika, and looking for a female-friendly hamam, and then headed here with my colleagues that evening. Back to Budapest tonight, and on a plane to London first thing in the morning. I'll be making a short visit to the Tate Modern, one of my favorite museums in the world, before heading to Oxford for the weekend. Photos to follow, but anybody who wants a postcard had better say so now.

i've been promised one already, but you can leave it behind for me in oxford. yet another thing for me to look forward to, upon my return.
