beethoven, not bombs

A nice article from the NYT on the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra's current tour, and the impact of the recent events on the members of the orchestra (formed by Daniel Barenboim and Edward Said to bring young Israeli and Arab musicians together in a project of creation and coexistance). Thariel's heard them play and says they're brilliant; I hope to have a chance to see them someday.
