well, that was fun while it lasted

My new bike was stolen a few hours ago. Guess that big heavy chain wasn't heavy enough. The most bizarre thing is that my housemate's bike was chained to the fence right next to it, and they didn't touch hers. Goddammit. I paid next to nothing for that bike, but I really liked it.
