I've just encountered a personal ad/political statement/objet d'art by a gay Israeli couple (both artists), presently living in the Netherlands: We Are Looking For You, Arab Lover. As they explain,

we...have decided to fall in love with an Arab guy as a contemporary form of political marriage. The idea originates in the common belief that love can overcome all obstacles and bridges between the hostile people. This video is an open invitation calling for Arab men to join our life.

Having enjoyed sleeping with--or at least kissing--"the enemy" (define as you will) on several occasions, I'm thoroughly in favour (and laughing my ass off.) Can you think of a better way to piss off the fundies on both sides than Muslim-Jewish gay polyamory? I didn't think so. (via rockslinga)
