holy crap (special moustache edition)

It isn't really news that I'm not a fan of Thomas Friedman (the man swore at me once, and on another occasion badly misquoted me in his column). I've always been vaguely dismayed that he's the most famous graduate from a certain unnamed Oxford masters' program (guilt by association....) I regard the fact that his columns are now inaccessible behind a pay barrier as a boon to my mental health. But for all his lunacies and fallacies, I didn't think he'd go so far as to basically call for what amounts to the US giving the go-ahead for ethnic cleansing of the Iraqi Sunni population.
