on avenue b today: i ♥ beirut

I noticed the first sticker somewhere around 10th street, and by the time I'd walked down to Delancey to catch the F it seemed as if a blizzard of these stickers had descended over the telephone poles and utility boxes and bike racks of the East Village:

I looked up the source and found The Lebanon Chronicle. People have been sending pictures of the stickers in streets in cities around the world, and writing their multilingual answers to the question, why do you love Beirut? I particularly liked this one.
